Section 6-5-530 Liability for damages. (a) In any civil action for personal injury,
death, or property damage caused by a product, regardless of the type of claims alleged or
the theory of liability asserted, the plaintiff must prove, among other elements, that the
defendant designed, manufactured, sold, or leased the particular product the use of which
is alleged to have caused the injury on which the claim is based, and not a similar
or equivalent product. Designers, manufacturers, sellers, or lessors of products not identified
as having been used, ingested, or encountered by an allegedly injured party may not be held
liable for any alleged injury. A person, firm, corporation, association, partnership,
or other legal or business entity whose design is copied or otherwise used by a manufacturer

Section 34-25B-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following
meanings: (1) FELONY. A criminal offense that is defined and punishable under the laws of
this state, or an offense committed outside the State of Alabama, which if committed in this
state, would constitute a felony under Alabama law; a crime in any other state or a crime

Section 36-25-27 Penalties; enforcement; jurisdiction, venue, judicial review; limitations
period. (a)(1) Except as otherwise provided, any person subject to this chapter who intentionally
violates any provision of this chapter other than those for which a separate penalty is provided

Section 34-4-25 Licensing of nonresidents. A nonresident of this state, or a resident of this
state who is licensed by another state, may become an auctioneer or apprentice auctioneer
in this state by conforming to this chapter, or in the case of a nonresident from a nonlicensing
state, such person may be licensed provided an examination is given and passed and the person

Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing Board Fund. (a) The Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing
Board is established within the Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities.
