Section 15-13-215 Suspension, revocation, etc., of license; renewal of suspended license. (a)
The board may suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue or renew any license issued by it upon finding
that the holder or applicant has committed any of the following acts: (1) A violation of this
article or any rule adopted pursuant to this article. (2) Fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
regarding an application or license. (3) Knowingly and willfully making a material misstatement
in connection with an application for a license or renewal. (4) A conviction by a court of
competent jurisdiction of a felony. (5) A conviction by a court of competent jurisdiction
of a Class A misdemeanor, if the board finds that the conviction reflects unfavorably on the
fitness of the individual for the license. (6) The commission of any act which would have
been cause for refusal to issue the license or identification card had it existed and been

Section 37-3-25 Penalties for violations. (a) Any person knowingly and willfully violating
any provision of this chapter or any rule, regulation, requirement or order thereunder or
any term or condition of any certificate, permit or license for which a penalty is not otherwise

Section 32-5A-191 (Effective until July 1, 2023) Driving while under influence of alcohol,
controlled substances, etc. (a) A person shall not drive or be in actual physical control
of any vehicle while: (1) There is 0.08 percent or more by weight of alcohol in his or her
blood; (2) Under the influence of alcohol; (3) Under the influence of a controlled substance
to a degree which renders him or her incapable of safely driving; (4) Under the combined influence
of alcohol and a controlled substance to a degree which renders him or her incapable of safely

and declares all of the following: (1) That a parent or guardian in Alabama has a constitutional
right to choose the type of K-12 education that is best for his or her child, whether public

parents choose to home school or enroll their children in elementary and secondary nonpublic

Section 33-4A-27 Suspension or revocation of license - Notice; hearing. For any violation by
any bar pilot of any of the provisions of this chapter, or any of the rules established by
the commission under the authority conferred upon the commission by this chapter, or under

Section 32-5A-195 Cancellation, suspension, or revocation of driver's license; grounds, procedure,
etc. (a) The Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency is authorized to cancel
any driver's license upon determining that the licensee was not entitled to the issuance thereof
