Section 45-17-20 Rules and regulations; violations. (a) The Legislature finds that the authority of the Legislature to enact local laws regulating the liquor traffic is preserved in Section 104 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, and pursuant to this authority the Legislature enacts this local law. (b) Each local governmental entity in Colbert County, whether it be a municipal governing body or the county commission, may promulgate and implement rules and regulations for controlling the liquor traffic within the jurisdiction of the local governmental entity by allowing or prohibiting nudity, topless dancing, or any other type of similar live entertainment on the premises of a business which serves or sells alcoholic beverages or allows the public to consume alcoholic beverages on the premises. (a) Each local government entity within Autauga County, whether it be a municipality or the county commission, shall have the right and authority to suspend or revoke any license issued for the sale of alcoholic beverages which the local governmental entity approved for issuances to any hotel, restaurant, or club for any reason which the local governmental entity may deem sufficient and proper. Section 22-27-48.1 Approval process by local governing body for siting of new solid waste management facility. (a) This section applies to the siting of any new solid waste management facility, as defined in Section 22-27-2. (b) The governing body of a county or municipality shall make a discretionary decision to approve or disapprove the siting of a new solid waste management facility in accordance with this section. Section 32-7C-36 Legislative intent, scope, and construction of article. In order to exercise its powers under this chapter, a public entity shall take the following steps: (1) The local governing body shall hold a public hearing at which all interested parties are afforded a reasonable opportunity to express their views on the concept of tax increment financing, on the proposed creation of a tax increment district and its proposed boundaries, and its benefits to the public entity.
