of Alabama 1975, relating to the Alabama Historical Commission; to include an appointee from
the Alabama Black Heritage Council; and to provide that one of the at-large members would
reside within the Tennessee Valley Authority service area. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE
OF ALABAMA:Section 1. Section 41-9-243 of the Code of Alabama 1975, is amended to read as
follows: ยง41-9-243. "The commission shall consist of 20 21 members, one of whom shall
be the Governor, one of whom shall be the Lieutenant Governor, one of whom shall be the Speaker
