Section 20-2-27 Schedule III - Listing of controlled substances. (a) The controlled substances
listed in this section are included in Schedule III: (1) Any material, compound, mixture,
or preparation which contains any quantity of the following substances having a potential
for abuse associated with a stimulant effect on the central nervous system: a. Amphetamine,
its salts, optical isomers, and salts of its optical isomers; b. Phenmetrazine and its salts;
c. Any substance which contains any quantity of methamphetamine, including its salts, isomers,
and salts of isomers; d. Methylphenidate. (2) Unless listed in another schedule, any material,
compound, mixture, or preparation which contains any quantity of the following substances
having a potential for abuse associated with a depressant effect on the central nervous system:
a. Any substance which contains any quantity of a derivative of barbituric acid, or any salt

Section 34-11-35.1 Legislative findings; rulemaking authority. (a) In addition to the powers
provided to the board by Section 34-11-35, the Legislature finds and declares all of the following:
(1) The power to adopt rules regulating the practice of engineering and land surveying in
the state includes the power to prohibit unlicensed persons from practicing engineering or
land surveying and the power to regulate how licensed persons practice. (2) The primary goal
of the provision of engineering and land surveying in the state is to prioritize health, life,
safety, welfare, and property. (3) The board is in the best position to determine the engineering
and land surveying practices that prioritize health, life, safety, welfare, and property.

Section 45-37-121.01 Personnel board - Extent of authority. In and for each separate county
of the State of Alabama which has a population of 400,000 or more people according to the
last or any future federal census, there shall be a personnel board for the government and
control by rules and regulations and practices hereinafter set out or authorized of all employees
and appointees holding positions in the classified service of such counties and the municipalities
therein whose population according to the last federal census was 5,000 or more and the county

Section 37-4-1 Definitions. Unless otherwise specified, when used in this article, these terms
shall have the following meanings: (1) COMMISSION. The Alabama Public Service Commission.

Section 22-9A-23 Fees. (a) Fees to be paid to the Office of Vital Statistics are as follows:
(1) The fee for making any search of the records and reporting the findings or for making
one certified copy of the record if found shall be fifteen dollars ($15). If the search is
