Law; to continue the existence and functioning of the Alabama Interagency Council for the
Prevention of Elder Abuse with certain modifications; to amend Section 38-9D-3, Code of Alabama
1975, so as to provide that the council shall meet at the call of the chair and to repeal
Section 38-9D-7, Code of Alabama 1975, to remove the council from regularly scheduled review
under the Sunset Law. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA: Section 1. Pursuant to
the Alabama Sunset Law, the sunset committee recommends the continuance of the Alabama Interagency
Council for the Prevention of Elder Abuse, with the additional recommendations for statutory
change as set out in Section 3. Section 2. The existence and functioning of the Alabama Interagency
