Section 26-23B-6 Criminal penalties. Any person who intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly
performs or induces or attempts to perform or induce an abortion in violation of this
chapter is guilty of a Class C felony. No penalty shall be assessed against the woman upon

Section 26-23B-7 Civil remedies. (a) Any woman upon whom an abortion has been performed
or induced in violation of this chapter, or the father of the unborn child who was the subject
of such an abortion, may maintain an action against the person who performed or induced
the abortion in intentional, knowing, or reckless violation of this chapter for actual
and punitive damages. Any woman upon whom an abortion has been attempted in violation

Section 26-22-3 Prohibition, exceptions, and regulations. (a) Prohibition. Except as provided
in subsection (b), no person shall intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly perform or induce

Section 22-30-19 Penalties and remedies. (a) Whenever, on the basis of any information, the
department determines that any person is in violation of any requirement of this chapter,
any rule or regulation promulgated by the department or any permit issued under authority
granted by this chapter, the department may issue an order requiring compliance immediately

Section 34-1A-7 Licenses - Required. (a) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for
any person or business entity to engage in a business regulated by this chapter in this state

Section 13A-2-1 Definitions - Generally. The following definitions apply to this Criminal Code:
(1) ACT. A bodily movement, and such term includes possession of property. (2) VOLUNTARY ACT.

Section 34-2-36 Penalties; hearing; enforcement; appeal. (a) On or after April 28, 1999, any
person who knowingly, willfully, or intentionally violates any provision of this chapter shall
