Section 41-9-922 Composition, terms of members, etc. (a) The board shall be composed
of 11 members: One member shall be appointed by the President of Auburn University, one member
shall be appointed by the Director of the Alabama Department of Archives and History, one
member shall be appointed by the Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Agriculture and
Industries, one member shall be appointed by the President of Tuskegee University, one member
shall be appointed by the President of Alabama A & M University, and six members shall
be appointed by the Governor, to be selected from a list of 20 individuals submitted by the

Section 33-13-6 Members, officers and directors; meetings; record of proceedings. The
authority shall be composed of the Governor, the Director of Finance, one member of the Senate,

Section 41-27-6 Appointment of the Director of the Department of Public Safety; functions

Section 23-1-21 Director of Transportation. The chief executive officer of the State
Department of Transportation shall be known as the Director of Transportation, who shall be
appointed by the Governor and shall hold office at the pleasure of the Governor. All the powers,
