Section 37-5-4 Board of directors - Appointment; terms; oath; vacancies; compensation and expenses.
The government of the district shall be vested in a board of three directors, to be appointed
by the Governor within 10 days after the creation and incorporation of the district. The regular
term of directors of the district after the first term shall be four years. Each director
shall hold office until his successor is selected and qualified. Each director shall, before
entering upon discharge of his duties, take and subscribe to the constitutional oath of office.

Section 45-49A-64.06 Board of directors. (a) Each authority shall be governed by a board of
directors. All powers of the authority shall be exercised by the board pursuant to its authorization.
The board shall consist of six directors. Each director shall be elected by the governing

Section 9-10A-11 Successor of director; term of office. The successor of a director who must
reside in a particular county shall be either elected or appointed. The method of selection

Section 9-10A-2 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases
shall have the meanings indicated unless the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Section 10A-3-2.10 Board of directors; vacancies. (a) Any vacancy occurring in the board of
directors and any directorship to be filled by reason of an increase in the number of directors
