Section 9-9-11 Establishment of district - Filing of objections to organization of district; hearing and proceedings upon petition and objections; issuance of order declaring organization of district; dismissal of petition and issuance of itemized bill of costs and expenses. If an original director who is required to reside in a particular county is to be selected by means of an election, the board of supervisors who determined that an election would be the method of selection shall call the election. Applicants for cost-share grants for soil and water conservation practices shall complete and submit an application for allocated funds as described herein to the soil and water conservation district office located in their counties.
