Section 9-12-181 Representatives to Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission. In pursuance of Article III of said compact there shall be three representatives from Alabama to the commission created therein to be selected as follows: The Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources shall, ex officio, be a representative of the State of Alabama on said commission; one representative shall be from time to time elected by the Legislature from its membership, and such representative shall serve for a four-year period from the date of his election or until his successor shall have been elected; and the other representative shall be appointed by the Governor by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, and such representative shall be a citizen of the State of Alabama having a knowledge of and interest in marine fisheries' problems. Section 9-13-46 Withdrawing of lands as auxiliary state forests; harvesting or use of timber without withdrawing of lands; payment of privilege tax generally.
