Section 35-12-76 Report of abandoned property. (a) A holder of property presumed abandoned shall make a report to the Treasurer concerning the property. The report shall be filed electronically and the monies remitted electronically. The Treasurer may grant an exception upon written request as established by rule. A report should contain only tangible property or intangible property. If a holder possesses both property types, two reports shall be filed. (b) The report must be verified, balanced, and must contain, at a minimum, all of the following: (1) A description of the property. (2) The date, if any, on which the property became payable, demandable, or returnable, and the date of the last transaction with the apparent owner with respect to the property. Section 9-11-153 Wholesale and retail freshwater nongame fish dealers' licenses; commercial paddlefish dealer's license. (a) Every person, firm, association, or corporation engaged in the buying, selling, or handling of freshwater nongame fish for the purpose of resale, whether handled on a commission basis or otherwise, and every person, firm, association, or corporation shipping freshwater nongame fish out of the State of Alabama on consignment or order shall be considered a wholesale dealer of freshwater nongame fish, and shall be required to pay a license of $25.00 per annum. Each person engaged in the spearing of commercial or nongame fish shall, in addition to all other Alabama fishing licenses, have a commercial or nongame fish spearfishing license. Section 41-6-31 Endowment fund established; composition; expenditure; investment of fund. The principal amount of such gift or donation shall be set aside by the State Treasurer in a special fund designated: "Endowment Fund - Department of Archives and History," and moneys so deposited shall constitute an endowment fund for said department.
