Section 9-2-15.1 Advisory Board of Conservation and Natural Resources; promulgation of rules and regulations; prohibition of airboat; penalty. (a) The conservation advisory board shall have the power to promulgate rules and regulations having the force and effect of law to regulate, including the authority to prohibit, the use of an airboat on any of the public waters of this state that are subject to an ebb and flow of the tide of at least two inches. (b) Any person violating the provisions of the rules and regulations promulgated under the authority of this section shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a Class C misdemeanor.
