Section 40-10-132 List and sale of lands bid in by state. (a) It shall be the duty of the Land
Commissioner to cause to be prepared a suitable book, in which shall be entered a description,
as accurate as can be obtained, of all the lands which have been bid in by the state, with
the amount of state and county taxes due thereon and the date when such lands were bid in;
and, when three years shall have elapsed from the date of sale, such portions of lands as
have not been redeemed shall be subject to sale by the state; and the Land Commissioner, with
the approval of the Governor, may do any of the following: (1) Sell the same at private sale
to any purchaser, who may pay therefor in cash to the Treasurer such sum of money as the Land
Commissioner may ascertain to be sufficient to cover and satisfy all claims of the state and

Section 30-3-193 Requests for information by the state Title IV-D agency. (a) Subject to due
process safeguards, including requirements for notice, opportunity to contest the action,

Section 9-7A-2 Definitions. The following terms, whenever used in this chapter, shall have

Section 24-9-6 Acquisition of tax delinquent properties. (a) The authority, at such times as
it deems to be appropriate, may submit a written request to the Land Commissioner of the Alabama
Department of Revenue for the transfer of the state's interest in certain properties to the
authority. Upon receipt of such request, the Land Commissioner shall issue a tax deed conveying
the state's interest in the property to the authority. The authority shall not be required
to pay the amount deemed to have been bid to cover delinquent taxes or any other amount in

Section 32-20-20 Application; manufactured home permanently affixed; detachment; records. (a)
Except as provided in Section 32-20-21 or subsection (b), every owner of a manufactured home
which is in this state and for which no certificate of title has been issued by the department,

Section 9-16-125 Reclamation program. (a) The Department of Labor, State Programs Division,
shall establish and maintain a state reclamation program for abandoned mines which complies
with Title IV of Public Law 95-87. The state reclamation program plan shall generally identify
the areas to be reclaimed, the purposes for which the reclamation is proposed, the relationship
of the lands to be reclaimed and the proposed reclamation to surrounding areas, the specific
