Within the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and under the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources, there is hereby created the office of Land Agent, whose duties will be to compile a record of all lands owned by the State of Alabama or any department or institution of the state. Section 9-15-43 Sales of school lands - Disposition of revenues from sales. Any revenue derived from the sale of school lands shall be paid by the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources to the Treasurer to be deposited to the proper township or townships as provided for by the Constitution and laws of Alabama.
