Section 9-10B-24 Alabama Water Resources Council established; composition of members; advisory capacity. There is hereby established the Alabama Water Resources Council. The Water Resources Council shall act in an advisory capacity to the Office of Water Resources and shall be comprised of one representative appointed by each of the following entities: The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, the Alabama Department of Public Health, the Soil and Water Conservation Committee, the Alabama State Port Authority, the Geological Survey of Alabama, and the Water Resource Research Institute. From time to time, the division chief may request any other state agency to appoint a representative to the Water Resources Council. Section 9-12-87 License for dredge. Every dredge authorized to be used in catching or removing oysters from the public reefs, beds or bottoms of this state shall be licensed by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Before such license is issued, the applicant shall pay to the department of conservation and natural resources or its duly authorized agent a fee of $25.00 for each and every dredge used in taking or catching oysters. Section 33-5-16 Certificates of registration and numbers generally - Transfer of interest or destruction or abandonment of vessel; change of address; duplicate registration certificates. (a) The owner shall furnish the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources notice of the transfer of all or any part of his or her interest other than the creation of a security interest in a vessel numbered in this state pursuant to this article or of the destruction or abandonment of such vessel within 15 days thereof.
