Section 9-2-60 Created. (a) There is created within the Department of Conservation and Natural
Resources a division to be known as the Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries. (b)
Wherever reference is made to the Game and Fish Division or the Division of Game and Fish
in this title, or in any other statute, rule, or regulation of the State of Alabama, the reference

privately by state. When land which has been sold for taxes and purchased by the state has
been sold by the state at private sale, and the purchase money has been paid into the state
