Section 32-6-350 Legislative intent. (a) It is the intent of the Legislature to establish an Alabama Veteran Tag Program to recognize certain veterans. (b) The owner of a motor vehicle who is a resident of this state and who is an eligible veteran pursuant to subsection (c) of this section may be issued a distinctive license tag pursuant to this division. The veteran shall make application to the judge of probate or commissioner of licenses, comply with state motor vehicle laws relating to registration and licensing of motor vehicles, pay the regular license fee for a tag as provided by law for a private passenger or pleasure motor vehicle, and pay an additional fee of three dollars ($3) for the initial issuance of the tag except a Vietnam veteran's tag. Section 32-6-390 Issuance of distinctive license tags or plates to members. (a) A member of the Lions Club International who is the owner of a motor vehicle and a resident of the state may be issued a distinctive license tag or plate which shall be produced and designed by the Alabama Department of Revenue. Section 9-2-85 Duties of employees of division generally; seizure, etc., of seafoods illegally taken, etc. The employees of the Division of Marine Resources shall diligently enforce all laws and regulations of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources now existing or which may hereafter be enacted or promulgated for the protection, propagation, preservation or conservation of the seafoods of the State of Alabama and shall prosecute all persons who violate any of such laws or regulations.
