Section 22-23-31 Definitions. When used in this article and except where the context prohibits,
the following words and terms shall have the following meanings: (1) FEDERAL ACT. The Federal
Safe Drinking Water Act, being Public Law 93-523. (2) ADMINISTRATOR. The Administrator of
the United States Environmental Protection Agency. (3) NATIONAL PRIMARY DRINKING WATER REGULATIONS.
Primary drinking water regulations promulgated by the administrator pursuant to the federal

Section 26-2A-20 General definitions. As used in this chapter the following terms shall have
the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1)
CLAIMS. In respect of a protected person, includes liabilities of the protected person, whether

Section 30-2-57 Rehabilitative or periodic alimony. (a) Upon granting a divorce or legal separation,
the court shall award either rehabilitative or periodic alimony as provided in subsection
(b), if the court expressly finds all of the following: (1) A party lacks a separate estate
or his or her separate estate is insufficient to enable the party to acquire the ability to
preserve, to the extent possible, the economic status quo of the parties as it existed during
the marriage. (2) The other party has the ability to supply those means without undue economic

Section 45-5-75 Rules and regulations; bond. (a) The Legislature finds and declares that the
regulation of the detonation of explosives for industrial purposes is not currently regulated
and that it is in the interest of the health and safety of the citizens of Blount County for
the Blount County Commission to regulate the detonation of explosives for industrial purposes.
(b) Any law to the contrary notwithstanding, the Blount County Commission may adopt, amend,
repeal, and enforce reasonable rules and regulations governing the detonation of explosives
for industrial purposes. Industrial purposes shall include but shall not be limited to the
detonation of explosives for the hardening of metal. (c) The rules and regulations of the
county commission shall include a provision for the licensing of persons who detonate explosives

Section 11-65-36 Application of net commission revenues. All commission horse wagering fees,
commission greyhound wagering fees, and other fees, commissions, and moneys, including fines
