Section 31-2A-43 (Article 43.) Statute of limitations. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this article, a person charged with any offense is not liable to be tried by courts-martial or punished under Section 31-2A-15 (Article 15) if the offense was committed more than 12 months before the receipt of sworn charges and specifications by an officer exercising court-martial jurisdiction over the command or before the imposition of punishment under Section 31-2A-15 (Article 15). Section 5-22-6 Criminal penalties. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, a person who willfully violates any provision of Section 5-22-3 shall in addition to other penalties provided by law, be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment for not more than 12 months or both. Section 13A-12-200.2 Distribution, possession with intent to distribute, production, etc., of obscene material prohibited; penalties; distribution of fines. (a)(1) It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly distribute, possess with intent to distribute, or offer or agree to distribute any obscene material or any device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs for any thing of pecuniary value.
