Section 10A-1-1.03 Definitions. As used in this title, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms mean: (1) AFFILIATE. A person who controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another person. Section 5-26-3 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply: (1) DEPOSITORY INSTITUTION. Section 35-12-79 Custody by state; recovery by holder; defense of holder. (a) In this article, good faith means honesty in fact in the conduct or transaction concerned. (b) Upon payment or delivery of property to the Treasurer, the state assumes custody and responsibility for the safekeeping of the property. (a) The commission or its staff may on its own, or on the verified complaint in writing of any person, investigate the actions and records of a licensee.
