Section 8-32-5 Required provisions, service contracts. (a) Service contracts sold or offered for sale in this state, in their entirety, shall be written, printed, or typed in eight point type size, or larger, and shall comply with the requirements set forth in this section, as applicable. (b) Service contracts insured under a reimbursement insurance policy pursuant to subdivision (1) of subsection (f) of Section 8-32-3 shall contain a statement in substantially the following form: "Obligations of the provider under this service contract are guaranteed under a service contract reimbursement insurance policy." If the provider fails to pay or to provide service on a claim within 60 days after proof of loss has been filed, the service contract holder is entitled to make a claim directly against the reimbursement insurance company. Section 37-3-13 Contract carrier permits - Generally. (a) No person shall engage in the business of a contract carrier by motor vehicle in intrastate commerce on any highway of this state unless there is in force with respect to such carrier a permit issued by the commission, authorizing such person to engage in such business. Section 11-65-20 Terms of operator's license. (a) An operator's license issued under this chapter, whether for horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon or for greyhound racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon, shall be for an initial period of 20 years, but shall be subject to renewal as provided in this section. A commission shall have no power to modify the terms of an operator's license, once issued, without the prior written consent of the holder of such license. Section 22-32-4 Authorization to operate site; users' charges; lease or contract for operation and disposal of low-level radioactive wastes. (a) The Alabama Department of Energy is authorized to operate a treatment, storage or disposal site for low-level radioactive wastes pursuant to any license issued by the Radiation Control Agency. The Alabama Department of Energy is authorized to charge each user of any licensed site within the state that user's proportionate share of the costs for handling of the wastes.
