Section 8-21B-4 Amendment, termination, etc., of dealer agreement - Good cause required. (a)
Notwithstanding the terms, provisions, or conditions of any agreement or dealer agreement,
no supplier shall unilaterally amend, terminate, or refuse to renew any dealer agreement,
or unilaterally cause a dealer to resign from a dealer agreement, unless the supplier has
first complied with this chapter and good cause exists for amendment, termination, nonrenewal,
or causing of resignation. The term good cause shall not include the sale or purchase of a
supplier. The term good cause shall be limited to withdrawal by the supplier, its successors,
and assigns of the sale of its products in Alabama or dealer performance deficiencies including,
but not limited to, failure by the dealer to comply substantially, without reasonable cause,
with any reasonable and material requirement imposed upon such dealer in writing by the supplier,

Section 8-21A-3 Violations by suppliers generally. It shall be a violation of this chapter
for a supplier to do any of the following: (1) To coerce, compel, or require any dealer to
order or accept delivery of any equipment or parts with special features or accessories not
included in the base list price of such equipment as publicly advertised by the supplier which

Section 8-21A-4 Termination, cancellation, or nonrenewal of dealer agreement; sales contract,

Section 8-20-5 Limitations on cancellations, modifications, terminations, and nonrenewals of
franchise relationships. (a) Notwithstanding the terms, provisions, or conditions of any agreement

Section 28-9-4 Prohibited acts - Suppliers. A supplier is prohibited from doing the following:
(1) Fail to provide each wholesaler of the supplier's brand or brands with a written agreement
which contains in total the supplier's agreement with each wholesaler, and designates a specific
