Section 40-12-30 Rulemaking authority; identifying information required from applicants. (a) The Department of Revenue is hereby authorized to promulgate reasonable rules and regulations relating to the administration and enforcement of the provisions of this act and those other provisions of this chapter relating to the licensing of automobile and other motor vehicle dealers not in conflict with the specific provisions hereof. (b) Every applicant for a new license and renewal issued pursuant to Articles 2, 6, 8, and 9 of this chapter shall provide to the issuing agent the applicant's federal employer identification number or, if the applicant is a sole proprietorship and does not possess same, the applicant's Social Security number. Section 32-5A-330 Definitions; applicability; violations. (a) As used in this section, the following terms are defined: (1) OPEN CONTAINER. A container which is other than in the manufacturer's sealed condition. (2) PUBLIC HIGHWAY or RIGHT-OF-WAY OF A PUBLIC HIGHWAY. Section 32-7C-4 Coverage exclusions; disclosures. (a) Insurers that write automobile insurance in this state may exclude any and all coverage afforded under the policy issued to an owner or operator of a personal vehicle for any loss or injury that occurs while a TNC driver is logged on to the digital network of a TNC or while a TNC driver provides a prearranged ride. Section 40-12-270 Disbursement of net proceeds from license taxes and registration fees; Secondary Road Committee created. The license division shall issue all motor vehicle licenses and titles issued in Lowndes County.
