Section 8-19A-8 Display of license required; penalty for failure to display license. (a) The
division shall issue to each approved applicant a license in the form and size as is prescribed
by the division and, in the case of a commercial telephone seller, shall issue a license for
each location at which the commercial telephone seller proposes to do business. Each license
issued under this chapter shall show the name and address of the licensee. (b) Each licensee
shall prominently display his or her license at the location where he or she does business.
Each licensee shall make the license available for inspection by any governmental agency upon
request. (c) Failure to display a license is sufficient grounds for the division to issue

this state includes both telephone solicitation from a location in Alabama and solicitation

Section 8-19A-6 Identification of certain affiliated sellers or salespersons. (a) With respect
to any person identified pursuant to Section 8-19A-5, an applicant for a license as a commercial

Section 34-9-18 Grounds for disciplinary action. (a) The board may invoke disciplinary action
as outlined in subsection (b) whenever it shall be established to the satisfaction of the
board, after a hearing as hereinafter provided, that any dentist or dental hygienist has been

Section 11-51-90 Municipal business licenses; branch offices; application. (a) All municipalities
shall have the following powers: (1) To license any exhibition, trade, business, vocation,
occupation, or profession not prohibited by the Constitution or laws of the state which may
be engaged in or carried on in the municipality. (2) To fix the amount of licenses, the time
for which they are to run, not exceeding one license year, to provide a penalty for doing

Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved,
adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes.

Section 11-65-20 Terms of operator's license. (a) An operator's license issued under this chapter,
whether for horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon or for greyhound racing and pari-mutuel
wagering thereon, shall be for an initial period of 20 years, but shall be subject to renewal
as provided in this section. A commission shall have no power to modify the terms of an operator's

Section 8-19A-13 Gifts, premiums, bonuses, or prizes; disclosures. If a commercial telephone
seller expressly or impliedly represents to any prospective purchaser, directly or through
