Section 7-2-719 Contractual modification or limitation of remedy. (1) Subject to the provisions
of subsections (2) and (3) of this section and of Section 7-2-718 on liquidation and limitation
of damages: (a) The agreement may provide for remedies in addition to or in substitution for
those provided in this article and may limit or alter the measure of damages recoverable under
this article, as by limiting the buyer's remedies to return of the goods and repayment of
the price or to repair and replacement of nonconforming goods or parts; and (b) Resort to

Section 8-20-4 Unfair and deceptive trade practices. Notwithstanding the terms, provisions,
or conditions of any dealer agreement or franchise or the terms or provisions of any waiver,

Section 7-2-714 Buyer's damages for breach in regard to accepted goods. (1) Where the buyer
has accepted goods and given notification (subsection (3) of Section 7-2-607) he may recover
as damages for any nonconformity of tender the loss resulting in the ordinary course of events
from the seller's breach as determined in any manner which is reasonable. (2) The measure

Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved,
adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes.

Section 22-18-50 Enactment and text of Emergency Medical Services Personnel Licensure Interstate
Compact. The Emergency Medical Services Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact is hereby enacted
into law and entered into with all other jurisdictions legally joining therein in form substantially
as follows: SECTION 1. PURPOSE In order to protect the public through verification of competency
and ensure accountability for patient care related activities all states license emergency
medical services (EMS) personnel, such as emergency medical technicians (EMTs), advanced EMTs
and paramedics. This Compact is intended to facilitate the day to day movement of EMS personnel
across state boundaries in the performance of their EMS duties as assigned by an appropriate
authority and authorize state EMS offices to afford immediate legal recognition to EMS personnel

Section 8-39-6 Rights and remedies of consumer. (a) This chapter shall not limit rights or
remedies available to a consumer under any other law. (b) Any waiver of rights by a consumer
under this chapter shall be void. (c) In addition to pursuing any other remedy, a consumer

Section 35-9A-407 Tenant's remedies for landlord's unlawful ouster, exclusion, or diminution
of service. If a landlord unlawfully removes or excludes the tenant from the premises or willfully
diminishes services to the tenant by interrupting or causing the interruption of heat, running
water, hot water, electric, gas, or other essential service, the tenant may recover possession
or terminate the rental agreement and, in either case, recover an amount equal to not more
than three months' periodic rent or the actual damages sustained by the tenant, whichever
is greater, and reasonable attorney's fees. If the rental agreement is terminated under this
