Section 10A-3-7.09 Involuntary dissolution - Venue and service of process. Every action for the involuntary dissolution of a nonprofit corporation shall be commenced by the Attorney General in the circuit court for the county in which the nonprofit corporation's principal office is located in this state, and if none in this state, in the circuit court for the county in which the nonprofit corporation's most recent registered office is located. Summons shall issue and be served as in other civil actions. The repeal of a prior act by this title shall not impair, or otherwise affect, the organization or the continued existence of an existing nonprofit corporation, nor the right of any foreign nonprofit corporation presently qualified to conduct affairs in Alabama to continue to do so without again qualifying to conduct affairs in Alabama. Section 11-32-20 Dissolution of transit authority. The authority shall be a nonprofit corporation, and no part of its net earnings remaining after payment of its expenses shall inure to the benefit of any individual, firm, or corporation except as provided in this section.
