Section 9-21-3 Definitions; diversity requirement on board. For the purposes of this chapter,
the following terms have the following meanings: (1) Board means the Alabama Board for Aquatic
Plant Management and shall include the following members: a. The Commissioner of the Department
of Conservation and Natural Resources or his or her designee. b. The Commissioner of the Department
of Agriculture and Industries or his or her designee. c. The Director of the Department of

Section 15-22-20 Board of Pardons and Paroles - Creation; composition; compensation. (a) There
shall be a Board of Pardons and Paroles which shall consist of three members. The membership
of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, or
economic diversity of the state. At least one member shall be a current or former law enforcement
officer with a minimum of 10 years' experience in or with a law enforcement agency which has
among its primary duties and responsibilities the investigation of violent crimes or the apprehension,

Section 15-23-4 Alabama Crime Victims Compensation Commission - Created; composition; meetings;
rules and regulations; bond; compensation. (a) There is hereby created the Alabama Crime Victims
Compensation Commission, which shall be composed of three citizens of the State of Alabama,
who shall be appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate, for terms
of four years each or until their successors are appointed and qualified. Provided however,
initial appointments shall be as follows: One member shall be appointed for two years, one

Council; applications for funding; program guidelines. (a) The Alabama Construction Trade
Academy Fund is established in the State Treasury. The fund shall be comprised of federal,
state, and private funding through direct budgetary funding and grants for the expansion of
construction trade education. To the extent practicable, monies in the fund shall be used
to leverage other forms of funding from private sources. A percentage of matching funds, as
