Section 45-5-71 Appropriations from general fund. (a) The Blount County Commission may appropriate from the county general fund an amount not exceeding two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) for each fiscal year, for a contingent fund to be used for any purpose the commission may deem appropriate.
