Section 45-49-161.02 Election to become supernumerary county treasurer. (a) Any county treasurer
in Mobile County: (1) Who has served for 15 years as such official and is totally and permanently
disabled to serve as such official, upon proof of such disability being made by certificate
of three reputable physicians; or (2) who has served for 18 years as such official and who
is not less than 65 years of age may elect to become a supernumerary county treasurer by filing

Section 45-49-261.02 Composition. The planning commission shall be composed of a minimum of
eight members who shall be qualified electors or property owners from the unincorporated areas
within the jurisdiction of the commission. In the event of any vacancy on the planning commission,

Section 45-49-234 Jail store; disposition of funds. (a) The Sheriff of Mobile County or the
authorized agents of the sheriff may operate a jail store for prisoners within the confines
of the county jail. The jail store shall be operated to serve the needs of the jail population.
(b)(1) The sheriff shall establish and maintain a Law Enforcement Fund in a bank located in
Mobile County. All proceeds collected under this section shall be deposited by the sheriff

Colbert County is hereby authorized to establish a sheriff reserve to be composed of such
persons who may volunteer to serve as sheriff reserve officers of the sheriff's department.
