Section 45-41-141 Definitions. (a) The following words and phrases used in this part, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, shall be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) AMENDMENT 392. Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved, adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes. Section 10A-1-8.02 Mergers of entities. (a) A merger of two or more entities, whether the other entity or entities are the same or another form of entity, may be accomplished as provided in this section. (1) CORPORATIONS. a. Section 16-6F-7 Applicant proposals; conversion to public charter school; terms of charters; contracts. (a) Request for proposals. (1) To solicit, encourage, and guide the development of quality public charter school applications, every local school board, in its role as public charter school authorizer, shall issue and broadly publicize a request for proposals for public charter school applications by July 17, 2015, and by November 1 in each subsequent year. Section 22-35-5 Fee; withdrawals; disposition of funds; liability for clean-up costs; audit. (a) Every owner of an underground or aboveground storage tank as defined in this chapter shall pay an Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund fee as established by the provisions of this chapter to be paid to the department. During the first year next following October 1, 1988, the amount of the annual Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund fee shall be one hundred dollars ($100). Thereafter, the commission, upon recommendation of the management board, shall set such an amount not to exceed one hundred fifty dollars ($150) per year per regulated tank. Should the fund become depleted due to claims being greater than amounts provided by tank fees, the commission shall be empowered to make special assessments of tank fees to protect the financial integrity of the fund. (b) A district for the delivery of fire and emergency medical services may be formed in any unincorporated area of the county pursuant to this section subject to the approval of a majority of the qualified electors who vote at a referendum election for that purpose in the proposed district and for the approval of the mandatory annual dues of the district.
