Subject to applicable state guidelines and statutory provisions, the policy adopted by the school board to implement school-based decision making shall also address the following: (1) School budget and administration including, but not limited to, discretionary funds, activity and other school funds, funds for maintenance, supplies and equipment, and accounting and auditing. (2) Assessment of individual student progress, including testing and reporting of student progress to students, parents, the school district, and the community. (3) School improvement plans, including the form and function of strategic planning and its relationship to district planning. (4) Any professional development plans developed by the school board. Section 38-9A-3 Regional support councils. (a) Each regional support council shall be composed solely of individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members.
