Section 45-48-241.31 Additional motor vehicle tag fees authorized. (a)(1) For purposes of this
section, the term motor vehicle means a motor vehicle as defined in Section 40-12-240, as
amended, excluding any trailer qualifying as a utility trailer. (2) The Marshall County Commission
outside of the corporate limits of any city in any part of which is located in Marshall County
having a city board of education may levy an additional annual fee of up to twenty-five dollars
($25) on each motor vehicle registered from that area or otherwise subject to ad valorem tax
by the county in that area in the county unless specifically exempted therefrom. (3) The governing
bodies of the City of Arab and the City of Guntersville may each respectively levy an additional
annual fee of up to twenty-five dollars ($25) on each motor vehicle registered within the

Section 45-48A-11.20 Additional vehicle tag fee. (a)(1) For each motor vehicle, as defined
in Section 40-12-240, as amended, or any successor provision thereto and excluding any trailer
qualifying for a utility trailer tag, the governing body of the City of Albertville, Alabama,

Section 40-17-329 Exemptions. (a) Unless otherwise provided for in this subsection, sales of
motor fuel to the following are exempt from the tax levied by subsection (a) of Section 40-17-325
and shall not be paid at the rack: (1) All motor fuel exported from this state for which proof
of export is available in the form of a terminal issued destination state shipping document
that is a. exported by a supplier who is licensed in the destination state or b. is sold by
a supplier to a licensed exporter for immediate export to a state for which the applicable
destination state motor fuel excise tax has been collected by the supplier who is licensed

Section 45-7-241 Levy of tax; disposition of funds; construction with state sales tax statutes.
(a) The following words, terms, and phrases as used in this section shall have the following
respective meanings except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) "Commissioner"
means the Commissioner of Revenue of the State. (2) "County" means Butler County

following terms shall have the meanings ascribed below: (1) BASE ANNUAL COUNTY DISTRIBUTION.

Section 45-37-200.03 Issuance of motor vehicle or boat registrations; fees; disposition of
funds. (a) The Legislature finds that Jefferson County has reduced the number of locations
where the citizens of Jefferson County may be issued their motor vehicle registrations due
to the financial difficulties of the county resulting in impediments to the citizens and to
the collection of state and local taxes and fees. The Legislature further finds that there
is a substantial local need to provide additional and supplemental means for the issuance
of motor vehicle registrations in Jefferson County in response to a demonstrated local need

Section 45-28-210 Motor vehicle user fee. (a) In Etowah County, in addition to all other charges,
costs, taxes, or fees levied by law on the issuance of all motor vehicle license tags for
