Section 36-30-2 Deaths deemed compensable; compensation for total disability; amount of compensation.
(a) In the event a peace officer, a firefighter, a volunteer firefighter who is a member of
an organized volunteer fire department registered with the Alabama Forestry Commission, or
a rescue squad member is killed, either accidentally or deliberately, or dies as a result
of injuries received while engaged in the performance of his or her duties, or dies as a direct
and proximate result of a heart attack or stroke, his or her beneficiaries or dependents shall
be entitled to compensation in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to be
paid from the State Treasury as provided in Section 36-30-3, unless such death was caused
by the willful misconduct of the officer, firefighter, or rescue squad member or was due to
his or her own intoxication or his or her willful failure or refusal to use safety appliances

Section 45-49A-65.05 Disposition of funds. (a) Fifty percent of the tax proceeds distributed
to the City of Mobile pursuant to Section 28-3-281, shall be transferred by the city treasurer
to the board to be deposited as provided in Section 45-49A-65.02. (b) During the 1983 calendar
year, tax proceeds shall be distributed in the following manner: Within 30 days after January
1, 1983, each association shall register youths according to Section 45-49A-65.04. Forty-five
days after January 1, 1983, each association shall submit to the board a list of registrants.

Section 27-44-5 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following
meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) ACCOUNT. Either

Section 19-3B-508 Qualified trusts under the Internal Revenue Code. (a) As used in this section:

Section 27-15-28.2 Standard nonforfeiture law for individual deferred annuities - Annuity contracts
issued after June 30, 2006, or by election under this section until June 30, 2006. (a) This

Section 27-36A-8 Reserve valuation method - Life insurance and endowment benefits. (a) Except
as otherwise provided in Sections 27-36A-9, 27-36A-12, and 27-36A-14, reserves according to

Section 27-15-8.1 Life insurance policy provisions - Maximum rates of interest on policy loans.
(a) For purposes of this section the "published monthly average" means: (1) The
Monthly Average of the Composite Yield on Seasoned Corporate Bonds as published by Moody's
Investors Service, Inc., or any successor thereto; or (2) In the event that the Monthly Average

Section 27-15-78 Calculations of adjusted premiums by the nonforfeiture net level premium method.
(a) This section shall apply to all policies issued on or after the operative date of this
section as defined herein. Except as provided in subsection (g), the adjusted premiums for
any policy shall be calculated on an annual basis and shall be such uniform percentage of
the respective premiums specified in the policy for each policy year, excluding extra premiums
