Section 45-37A-100.06 Order of administrative hearing officer; judicial review. (a) Following
an administrative hearing, the administrative hearing officer shall issue an order stating
all of the following: (1) Whether the person charged with the civil violation is liable for
the violation. (2) If the person is found to be liable, the amount of the fine assessed against
the person, along with the fees and costs provided for herein. (b) Orders issued under this
section may be filed in the office of the judge of probate in any county in Alabama, and shall
operate as a judicial lien in the same manner and with the same weight and effect as any other
civil judgment filed therein. (c) A person who is found liable after an administrative hearing
may challenge that finding of civil liability in the Jefferson County Circuit Court, by filing

Section 45-42A-24.02 Notice ordering abatement; hearing; appeal. (a) For purposes of this part,
the enforcing official shall mean either the mayor or such other city official or employee
as the mayor from time to time may designate. Whenever, in the opinion of the enforcing official,

Section 45-41A-41.09 Late fees; record of civil violations. The city may provide by ordinance
that late fees not exceeding twenty-five dollars ($25) per month for each month after the
issuance of the order imposing the civil fine shall attach to untimely paid civil fines that

Section 45-24A-32.03 Automated photographic traffic signal enforcement system. (a) The city
is empowered to utilize an automated photographic traffic signal enforcement system to detect
and record traffic signal violations, to issue notices of civil violations by mail, and to
prosecute civil violations for the recorded traffic signal violations which may occur within
the corporate limits of the city as provided in this part. A civil penalty assessed under
this part shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100), and municipal court costs shall be

Section 34-11-11.2 Complaints; investigation; hearing; sanctions. (a) Any person or entity,
including the board or its staff, may file a complaint alleging a violation of this chapter
against any individual licensee, certified intern, or firm holding a certificate of authorization
or against an unlicensed individual or firm. The complaint shall be in writing, shall be signed

Section 45-37A-42.01 Traffic safety system authorized; legislative findings. (a) The City of
Bessemer, Alabama, by ordinance, may provide for the implementation of an automated traffic
safety system within the city as provided for in this part. (b) The Legislature finds and
