Section 27-40-4 Licenses - Investigation and qualifications of applicant; issuance. (a) Upon
the filing of an application and the payment of the license fee the commissioner shall make
an investigation of each applicant and shall issue a license if the applicant is qualified
in accordance with this section. If the commissioner does not so find, he shall, within 30
days after he has received such application, at the request of the applicant, give the applicant

Section 34-27-35 License certificates generally. (a) The commission shall prescribe the form
and content of license certificates issued. Each qualifying broker's license certificate shall
show the name and business address of the broker. The license certificate of each active salesperson

Section 45-39-40.19 Refusal, revocation, suspension of license or certificate; hearing. (a)
The board shall have the power to refuse, revoke, and suspend licenses and certificates, strictly
in accordance with this article, upon proof of violation of any of the rules and regulations

Section 45-49-40.17 Barber school prerequisites. (a) An application for a license and approval
as a registered school or college of barbering shall contain, under oath, all of the following:

Section 5-25-14 Denial, suspension, or revocation of license. (a) The department may suspend
or revoke a license on any ground on which it might refuse to issue an original license, or
for a violation of any provision of this chapter or any rule or regulation issued under this

Section 34-24-337 Renewal of certificate; reinstatement of license. (a) Renewal of license.
Every person licensed to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Alabama shall, on
or before December 31 of each succeeding year, apply to the commission for renewal of a certificate
of registration which shall be effective during the next calendar year. All new licenses issued

Section 45-24-200 Special transaction fee. (a) The Dallas County Commission may impose a special
transaction fee not exceeding five dollars ($5) to be paid to the Dallas County License Commissioner
when public business is transacted in the office of the license commissioner. The fee may
only be imposed by the county commission after two public hearings have been held on the proposed
transaction fee held at least one week apart. The public hearings shall be advertised for
three consecutive days prior to each hearing. After the public hearings, the fee may be imposed
