Section 16-46B-5 Computer science education task force. (a) The Governor shall establish a
computer science education task force to develop a state strategic plan for expanding computer
science education in the public schools in Alabama. (b) The membership of the task force shall
include all of the following: (1) One member of the House of Representatives, as appointed
by the Speaker of the House, and one member of the Senate, as appointed by the President Pro
Tempore of the Senate. (2) A representative of the board, as appointed by the board. (3) The
state computer science specialist and two additional representatives of the department, as

Section 45-5A-70 Election of board of education; referendum. (a)(1) Pursuant to Amendment 659
to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, and as soon as practicable after final approval of
this section by the United States Department of Justice, if necessary, the Oneonta City Council
shall call an authorizing referendum election, to be held at the time of the next general
election held in the city on November 7, 2000, regarding changing the Oneonta City Board of

committee shall consider the merit of textbooks offered for use in the public elementary and
high schools of the state and make recommendations for approval or rejection, or both, to

Section 45-28A-30 Board of education - Established. (a) There is hereby established a school
board for the City of Attalla, Alabama, which board shall be called the Attalla Board of Education.
The members of such board shall be elected by vote of the qualified electors of the City of
Attalla, Alabama, as hereinafter provided. The board shall be composed of five members, with

the trial court that an indigent defendant is entitled to counsel, that the indigent defendant
