Section 36-25-1 Definitions. Whenever used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings: (1) BUSINESS. Any corporation, partnership, proprietorship, firm, enterprise, franchise, association, organization, self-employed individual, or any other legal entity. Section 19-3A-106 Conversion to unitrust. (a) Unless expressly prohibited by the governing instrument, a trustee may convert a trust into a unitrust as described in this section if all of the following apply: (1) The trustee has concluded that the conversion will enable the trustee to better carry out the intent of the settlor or testator and the purposes of the trust. Section 25-8-59 Penalties; notice of violation and opportunity to show cause; hearing. (a) Any employer who violates this chapter, or who fails or refuses to obey within a reasonable time any lawful order or direction given by the state officials charged with the enforcement of this chapter, and any parent, guardian, or custodian who suffers or permits a person under his or her care or control who is under 19 years of age to work in violation of this chapter, shall be subject to civil penalties in addition to other penalties provided in this chapter.
