Section 45-35-20.01 Construction; purpose. This part shall be deemed an exercise of the police power of the State of Alabama for the protection of the public welfare, health, peace, and morals of the people of Houston County and this part shall be liberally construed for the accomplishment of this purpose. The purpose of this part is to prohibit, within an establishment dealing in or permitting the consumption of alcoholic beverages, sexual conduct, nudity, simulated nudity, partial nudity, erotic dancing while nude or partially nude, dancing commonly referred to as bikini dancing, or other entertainment where entertainers, employees, dancers, or waiters appear nude or semi-nude.
