Section 32-1-1.1 Definitions. The following words and phrases when used in this title, for
the purpose of this title, shall have meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section,
except when the context otherwise requires: (1) ALLEY. A street or highway intended to provide
access to the rear or side of lots or buildings in urban districts and not intended for the
purpose of through vehicular traffic. (2) ARTERIAL STREET. Any United States or state numbered
route, controlled-access highway, or other major radial or circumferential street or highway
designated by local authorities within their respective jurisdictions as part of a major arterial
system of streets or highways. (3) AUTHORIZED EMERGENCY VEHICLE. Such fire department vehicles,
police vehicles, and ambulances as are publicly owned, and such other publicly or privately

Section 25-4-10 Employment. (a) Subject to other provisions of this chapter, "employment"
means: (1) Any service performed prior to January 1, 1978, which was employment as defined

Section 41-5A-12 Periodic examinations and audits of state and county offices, departments,
boards, etc. (a)(1) The books, records, vouchers, and accounts of every state and county office,

Section 45-49-151.07 Racing days - Requirements; broadcast races. (a) Any person, association,
or corporation desiring to operate a racetrack in the county shall hold and conduct one or
more race meetings at the track each year, but no license shall be granted to any person,
association, or corporation, or to any track for a period longer than 312 racing days in any
one year. (b)(1) Any licensee conducting race meetings under this subpart may: a. Receive
broadcasts of horse races and dog races conducted outside of Mobile County, and allow all

Section 6-6-590 Right of action and venue - Vacating charter or annulling existence of corporation.
(a) An action may be commenced under this article, in the name of the state, against the offending
corporation, on the information of any person for the purpose of vacating the charter or annulling
the existence of any corporation, other than municipal, whenever such corporation: (1) Offends
against any of the acts creating, altering, or renewing such corporation; (2) Violates the
provisions of any law, by which such corporation forfeits its charter, by abuse of its powers;
