Section 45-17-170 Board of health fees. (a) The County Board of Health of Colbert County, which is a part of the Northwest Alabama Regional Health Department, is hereby authorized to recommend reasonable fees or charges to the governing body of the county and the governing body shall establish the actual amount of the fee, with or without regard to such recommendations, for the rendering of public health services within the county to members of the public. Such fees shall supplement, but not replace, local, state, and federal appropriations. Section 16-6D-4 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ACADEMIC YEAR. Section 45-4-170 County Health Department - Service fees. (a) The West Alabama District Board of Health shall designate the services rendered by the Bibb County Health Department for which a reasonable fee may be charged and shall set the maximum allowable fee to be charged for each service. (b) The Bibb County Health Department shall be authorized to charge and collect such fees. Any fees to be charged under the authority of this section by the county health department shall be subject to approval by the respective county commission prior to implementation.
