Section 45-49-91.17 Violations. In case any building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted, or maintained, or any subdivision is established, or land used in violation of this part or of any ordinance or other regulation made under the authority conferred hereby, the board or other appropriate administrative officer designated by the board may institute any appropriate action or proceeding to prevent the unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion, maintenance, or subdivision of the land or use of the land to restrain, correct, or abate the violation, or to prevent the occupancy of the building, structure, subdivision of land or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business, or misuse in or upon any premises regulated under the authority conferred by this part. (1) To solicit, encourage, and guide the development of quality public charter school applications, every local school board, in its role as public charter school authorizer, shall issue and broadly publicize a request for proposals for public charter school applications by July 17, 2015, and by November 1 in each subsequent year.
