Section 45-25A-50 Court costs; Law Enforcement Fund. In DeKalb County, there is levied in the Town of Fyffe an additional fee of ten dollars ($10) for court costs. Funds from the fee shall be deposited in the Law Enforcement Fund to be used by the chief of police for law enforcement purposes. (a)(1) In Calhoun County, in any case in which court costs are assessed in a municipal court in the county, there shall be assessed and collected, in the same manner as other costs and charges are collected, an additional court cost in the amount of five dollars ($5) per case which shall be used for the operation, maintenance, upgrade, and support of computer or technology systems at the Calhoun County Courthouse and for the Calhoun County Justice Technology Fund. Section 45-11-80.01 Additional court costs; Public Safety Technology Fund. (a) In all criminal, quasi-criminal, and traffic cases in district, circuit, and municipal courts in Chilton County, there shall be taxed as costs an additional ten dollars ($10) in each case.
