Section 45-24-210 Issuance fee for license tags and plates. Pursuant to the authority granted in Amendment 138 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, in addition to all other issuance fees currently provided by law, the county officer charged with the duty and responsibility of issuing motor vehicle license tags and plates in Dallas County shall assess and collect an issuance fee of seventy-five cents ($0.75) on each tag or plate issued. The proceeds from the first twenty-five cents ($0.25) of the additional issuance fee shall be credited to the Dallas County Legislative Delegation Office established by Section 45-24-190.
