Section 37-5-1 Definitions. Unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) MUNICIPAL POWER DISTRICT, POWER DISTRICT or DISTRICT. A municipal power district organized under this chapter, either as originally organized or as the same may be from time to time altered or amended. (2) MUNICIPALITY. Any city or town. Section 45-25-81.40 Library fee; maintenance and management of law library. (a) In order to provide funds for the maintenance of a public law library heretofore established in DeKalb County, a library fee of three dollars fifty cents ($3.50) shall be paid in all causes and cases of whatever nature in the circuit and district courts of the county, to be collected as other court costs are collected and paid at the same time as docket or filing fees are paid. All of the funds collected under this section shall be transmitted to the County Law Library Fund of the county by the tenth of each month following their collection. This fee shall be in lieu of any other court cost collected in the county for public law library purposes. (b) The management of the law library is vested in the presiding circuit judge for the county, and the presiding judge or his or her designee shall administer the law library. Section 11-89C-9 Powers of governing bodies. (a) A governing body shall proceed under this chapter as a participant in the public corporation or individually, to adopt upon reasonable public notice and following public hearing all necessary rules and regulations by resolution or ordinance to implement this chapter and to specifically regulate and control storm water discharges and eliminate the discharge of pollutants to its municipal separate storm sewers.
