Section 41-9-950 Creation; composition; terms; removal. (a) The Tuskegee Airmen Commission is created to consist of 18 members. The members shall be appointed by the Governor, with at least three of the members being residents of Macon County as recommended by the legislative delegation and at least two of the original board members being Tuskegee Airmen. (1) Three members appointed by the Governor from a list of six nominees submitted by the Speaker of the House of Representatives with one member recommended by the member of the House of Representatives from the district in which the commission is located.
