Section 16-51-3 Board of trustees - Creation; composition; reappointments; expenses. (a) There
is created a Board of Trustees for the University of North Alabama, the state educational
institution at Florence, Alabama. The board of trustees shall consist of all of the following:
(1) Six members who are residents of the fourth and fifth congressional districts, as those
districts were constituted on January 1, 2018, at least two of whom shall be residents of
the county in which the institution is located. (2) Three members from the state at large.
(3) Two at-large members from within or outside of the state. (4) The Governor, who shall
be ex officio president of the board. (b) The trustees shall be appointed by the Governor,
by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and, except for the first trustees appointed,
shall hold office for a term of 12 years, until 2015, and until their successors shall be

Section 41-7-3 Advisory Board. (a) There is established the Advisory Board to the Alabama Tourism

Section 45-49-50 Qualifications, Constable Regulatory Board of Mobile; suspensions. (a) In
Mobile County, no person shall hold the office of constable unless the person has successfully
completed the minimum standards and training for peace officers pursuant to Section 36-21-46.
(b) All constables shall be required to obtain a minimum of 20 hours of training per year,
in addition to those requirements for constables set forth in subsection (a). (c) Constables
not acquiring the required amount of training hours may not perform the duties of their office
until the required training has been met. The Mobile County Constable Association is established
to approve and provide the training of constables as required in subsection (b). (d) The Constable

Section 45-5-100 Compensation. (a) Members of the county Board of Education of Blount County,

Section 24-10-8 Alabama Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee - Composition; expenses; staff.
(a) There is created the Alabama Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee for the purpose of
advising the Director of ADECA and staff of the department with respect to the Alabama Housing
Trust Fund. (b) The membership of the advisory committee shall be inclusive and reflect the
racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural and economic diversity of the state. The advisory
