Section 34-29-67 Compensation and expenses; expenditure of funds. The members of the board shall receive two hundred dollars ($200) a day for each day or a portion thereof the member is actually engaged in the work of the board, and in addition, the usual per diem expenses allowed to other persons acting in the service of the State of Alabama or any of its agencies, institutions, boards, bureaus, or commissions. The legal expenses of the board for administration of this article shall be paid from funds in the State Treasury to the credit of the board and shall be paid only on warrant of the State Treasurer and approved by the Governor. No funds shall be withdrawn or expended except as budgeted and allotted pursuant to Title 41, Chapter 4, Article 4, and only in amounts as stipulated in the general appropriations act.
