Section 41-9-870 Creation of Alabama Peace Officers' Hall of Fame Board; composition; compensation;
meetings. (a) The Alabama Peace Officers' Hall of Fame Board is hereby created and established.
The board shall be composed of seven law enforcement officers. Any board member serving on
May 14, 2012, shall serve a term of four years commencing from that date, and thereafter,
all board members shall be appointed as herein provided and shall serve a term of office of
four years. Each two years the board shall elect one of its members to serve as chair. The
board members shall be appointed as follows: One member shall be appointed from the Alabama
Peace Officers' Association; one member shall be appointed from the Alabama Sheriffs' Association;

Section 36-21-104 Tuition Eligibility Board. There is created the Tuition Eligibility Board,
which shall determine the eligibility of any persons applying under the provisions of this
article. The Tuition Eligibility Board shall certify to the Alabama Commission on Higher Education

including fines and forfeitures, received under this subpart shall be paid to the racing commission

Section 45-37A-51.131 Method of selection and terms of appointment of board members. (a) The
members of the board of managers, other than the mayor who shall always serve as chair, shall
be selected and shall serve for the term as hereafter set forth. (1) The mayor of the city
shall always serve as the chair of the system. (2) The member appointed by the personnel board
shall have a minimum of seven years' experience in an executive capacity in accounting, insurance,
