Section 27-17A-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following
meanings: (1) ALTERNATIVE CONTAINER. A nonmetal receptacle or enclosure, without ornamentation
or a fixed interior lining, which is designed for the encasement of human remains and which
is made of cardboard, pressed-wood, composition materials (with or without an outside covering),
or pouches of canvas or other materials. (2) ARRANGEMENT CONFERENCE. The meeting occurring
either at need or preneed between the seller and the purchaser during which funeral or cemetery
merchandise and services are discussed. (3) ARRANGEMENT CONFERENCE FEE. The charge to the
purchaser in conjunction with the arrangement conference. (4) AT NEED. At the time of death,
or immediately following death. (5) AUTHORIZING AGENT. One who is lawfully authorized to control
the final disposition of human remains. (6) BELOW-GROUND CRYPT. A preplaced enclosed chamber,

Section 27-61-1 Surplus Lines Insurance Multi-State Compliance Compact. The Surplus Lines Insurance
Multi-State Compliance Compact Act is enacted into law and entered into with all jurisdictions

Section 38-7-21 Licensing of church, religious nonprofit entity, or religious nonprofit school
to operate as licensed day care center. A church, religious nonprofit entity, or religious
nonprofit school that has been operating a day care center or preschool program without a
license prior to March 21, 2018 that chooses to become a licensed day care center under this
chapter shall have 90 days from March 21, 2018 to come into compliance with all licensing
requirements of this chapter and related rules adopted by the department, except the church,

Section 16-1-2.3 Requirements for restroom facilities at public or private high school sports
stadiums. (a) This section applies to all of the following: (1) Any existing public or private
high school sports stadium for which otherwise applicable state or local building or plumbing
codes or state or local laws or regulations would require a change in the amount of plumbing
fixtures on or after June 6, 2019. (2) Public or private high school sports stadiums constructed
on or after June 6, 2019. (b) Notwithstanding any otherwise applicable state or local building

Section 45-49-91.16 Certificate of compliance for land use. Whenever the board has adopted
a master plan for the district, no street, square, park, or other public way ground or open
space, public building or structure, or public utility, whether privately or publicly owned,
shall be constructed or authorized in the district until the location, character, and extent
thereof has been submitted to and approved by the board. The board may require an application
fee be paid by any person, business, or other entity submitting plans to the board for approval.
However, any fee required may not exceed the actual costs of processing the application, including
